SAMPLE PACKAGE ONLY

The information on this page is of our 2020 package that was cancelled due to COVID-19 and is indicative only.

Our Hajj journey begins in Madinah Al-Munawwarah, the City of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ where you will spend 9 nights in comfort close to Masjid Al Nabawi.

The designed period of stay will allow for those of you who have intended to offer the 40 Salaats in the Haram. Feel the peace of Madinah and the freedom to explore religious and historical sites, to buy gifts for the loved ones and to relax and prepare for the days of hajj.

We will leave Madinah to Makkah by road in comfort and settle in our first Makkah hotel within walking distance to the Haram for 3 nights before the days of Hajj and 2 nights afterwards. This hotel has been chosen for you remaining accessible to the Haram, before, during and after the days of Hajj.

You will retain your rooms and will have access as you wish during the days of Hajj. Your belongings can also remain in your room while you are in the Mina camp. Upon return from Mina, we settle into our Makkah hotel at the doorsteps of the Haram for 7 complete nights to relax, worship and prepare for our trip back home.

OUR PRINCIPLE:

UNDERSTANDING OUR PACKAGE:

Our principle is that hajj is a lifetime opportunity and its value for the pilgrim does not decrease even if he or she performs it more than once. Therefore, we design our package so that the pilgrim can establish best practice to maximise rewards and benefit spiritually.

If your primary consideration is to maximise your time in fancy hotels, fancy food and minimum efforts then perhaps this package is not for you.

However, if you want to have maximum access to the Haram in Makkah, spend as much time during your 4 days of Hajj in the Mina tents in supplication and sharing your experience with your fellow pilgrims and try to get 40 prayers in congregation in Madinah then we have tailored this package for you.

In selecting and pricing this package we had to take into consideration what you, our brothers and sisters would be prepared to pay and then choose our airlines, hotels, transportation etc. to fit the budget. We have carefully planned it and put the resources where we think they ought to go. As a result, we offer you the best value for your money.

  • We fly into Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah in the afternoon from Dubai. We will be transferred to our hotel where Insha Allah you will be able to settle in your rooms, refresh, pray maghrib or Eisha as our first prayer in Madinah.
  • Madinah: Al Eiman Taibah.
  • Situated on the side of the haram (back of Masjid Al-Nabawi) that is most sought after due to closeness for ladies’ prayer areas, suitability for all needs including supermarkets, shopping, services, transportation and eateries. This is the sides where all major hotels are based.
  • Buffet dinner is standard during the stay in Madinah. You can have well-deserved rest for the afternoon or night.
  • After some rest, you may again decide to visit Masjid Al Nabawi and personally greet Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and his beloved companions Abu Bakr Siddiq and Omar Ibn Khattab or you may decide to do it the next day as we have ample time in Madinah. This is called the Rawda of Rasulullah ﷺ.
  • You may want to make it at least a daily habit to visit the Rawda of Rasulullah and give salaams and make dua.
  • Other areas in the masjid to visit are Riyadhul Jannah, The garden of Paradise, Mehrab-e-Nabawi, Mimbar (pulpit) and Ashab us-Suffah platform
  • There is also the visit of Jannat al-Baqīʿ the first Islamic cemetary in Madinah where rests members of the family of our Prophet and many of his companions and other important personalities of Islamic spirituality. May Allah shower his blessings an all of them.
  • We will be organising Ziyara Insha Allah for the group to view some historic Masaajid
  • You may hire a local guide who can show you around Madinah
  • There is a concentration of shops in this area for your everyday need including supermarket, laundry etc. There are many shops for Islamic dressing and gifts etc.
  • The reason for the 8 complete days is for those who desire to focus on 40 prayers in jammat (congregation). Ensure that your planning is done correctly as you need to be in congregation at the very start of every prayers.
  • For those who would like a shorter trip we suggest that you join us in Madinah a week later from our departure date

LAND TRANSPORTATIONS:

  • Controlled by the Saudi Authority. They have increased their fares again this year in exchange for good comfortable buses. Insha Allah there should be no issue.
  • Buses will be despatched to the hotel and specific names will be allocated per buses by the Saudi authority. You will need to comply.
    • Transfers between airports and hotels
    • Intercity transportation

  • The trip between Makkah and Madinah depends on boarding time, the traffic and processing time at the control centre. You should be prepared for a ten-hour trip.
  • We recommend that you pack some light food and drink for the trip although the Saudi government normally provides some snack packs at the processing centre. All food, drinks and meals outside the hotels (as per package) are at your own cost.
  • We will be stopping at the meeqat of Dhul Hulayfah which is about 10 Km from Madinah so that we can make our intention for Umrah. Preparation for Ihram should be done at the hotel in Madinah before we leave.
  • We will likely make one stop on the road for refreshment, bathroom and prayer break. You may purchase whatever you require in the shops. However, choices are limited.
  • Insha Allah we will reach Makkah in time for you to settle and have dinner. Note that all movements and transportation are not under our control. So you will need to ne patient with whatever the outcome.
  • This is a trade-off for either we stay in Makkah near the Haram or we go to Shishah.
  • We have chosen this hotel as our first hotel in Makkah awaiting to go to the Mina camp. We will stay here 4 nights before Hajj and 2 nights after Hajj. We chose to stay in Makkah so that you are closer to the haram instead of Aziziyah or Shisha that are at least 6 Km from the Haram. If you are keen you can have all your prayers in the haram for your 1:100 00 rewards it is feasible. Otherwise at least you can have 3 prayers easily. You can also make extra Umrah although we recommend that you save your strength for Hajj.
  • The closer you get to the haram the more expensive. This hotel, 900 meters from the Haram suits our budget. However, we are still trying to get a closer hotel at this stage.
  • We will arrive at the hotel from Madinah in the late afternoon or evening. This is an opportunity to settle, get organised, refresh and then we will organise in groups to go to the Haram and perform Umrah.
  • For the next couple of days, you need to rest and be in good healthy and fit condition for Mina camp.
  • The Haram in Makkah is within walking distance so you may plan your visit and prayers as you see fit.
  • This morning we will leave for the Mina camp by bus
  • The tents are designed to contain maximum amount of people so only have a back pack / small bag with you. We will provide a guide as to what you will need
  • Sofa beds, blanket and a mattress for Muzdalifah will be provided
  • Today, the purpose is to settle down and get use to the camp and concentrate on duas (supplication) and zikr (remembrance of Allah ) and prepare for the next day. The day of Arafat. Hajj Day.
  • This is the most important day. There cannot be Hajj if Arafat is missed.
  • We will leave the camp in the morning and be in Arafat camp before noon
  • You will have air-conditioned tents and cooked lunch will be served. The day of Arafat is spent in supplication and prayers. Refreshments will be available during the day.
  • We will then leave for Muzdalifah after Magrib by bus. You will be given a cold food pack.
  • Magrib and Eisha will be prayed in Muzdalifah
  • We will spend the night under the stars in Muzdalifah. You will need to bring the travel mattress that will be given to you.
  • You will gather pebbles from here to pelt the Jamaraat
  • Sleep the night and pray Fajr in Muzdalifah
  • You must be prepared to be patient, Muzdalifah is a crowded place, go with the flow as all our Muslim brothers and sisters will be in the same place at the same time. Wish for them what you wish for yourself. Remember, this is hajj and the pilgrims must display behaviours that will please Allah .
  • We leave back to the Mina camp after Fajr. You will have a choice whether to walk (about 45 minutes) or catch the bus which with the majority of the crowd
  • Go the camp and refresh and rest and get ready to go pelt the big Jamaraat
  • The sacrifice (Hadi / Qurbani) will be done for you.
  • After the sacrifice is offered you will shave or trim your hair (men), cut your hair (Women) and come out of your Ihram
  • You may go to Haram to finish the Hajj rituals on the same day or later. You will discuss this with your group leader based on what is easier for you
  • You may go to your hotel in Makkah after the Haram for shower and refreshing and rest and come back to mina to spend the night. Spending the night in Mina is a must.
  • The next 2 days will be spent in Mina and your focus will be supplication, rest and the pelting of all the Jamaraat
  • The sunnah is to stay until the 13th of Dhul Hijjah but most of the people leave on the 12th as this is permissible according to the Quran.
  • You are either in the camp for the last day and return to the Hotel after Dhuhr or you are already in Makkah
  • Rest and recover from the Hajj days
  • In the afternoon we move to our last hotel and we will leave on the 21st Dhul Hijjah morning
  • This is the best time to make full use of the Haram and also there is easy access to taxi and buses to go to Masjid Aisha (meeqat) and make niyaa for extra Umrah. You may perform as many Umrah as you wish
  • On the night before or morning after Fajr on the last day, you will make your farewell tawaf.
  • Be ready to leave the hotel after breakfast for the airport.
  • The authorities require us to leave normally about 12 hours prior to departure time. This is because of the traffic and limited infrastructure at the airport. We will advise you closer to the day
  • As usual whenever we are travelling, be armed with patience and have a tasbih ready for zikr.
  • As per airlines timetable Insha Allah we have a smooth flight to New Zealand

AIRLINES:

Both New Zealand and Fiji groups will be flying from Auckland with Emirates. We chose Emirates because:

  • It is a top-rated airline and you won’t have to worry about their ground services and onboard services. Everything is halal.
  • For those of you wanting to break your return journey to visit friends and relatives in the Middle East, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Somalia or any other places it is an ideal hub. We will simply change the date on your flight back to New Zealand from Dubai and you can perform your side trip and use the rest of your hajj ticket to get back. Please contact us for any side trip and we will arrange all of it for you.
  • Overseas pilgrims from the Middle East or Europe can join us in Dubai. Will need to apply to Almarwah (conditions apply).
